“Take and Eat” is a Eucharistic choral work by Brad Whittle, arranged by Eileen Bird, built on Matthew 26:26–28 and John 6:51, 53–54, 56–57. Designed for parish or school choirs, it features piano accompaniment and choral parts (including Soprano, Alto, and Bass, with a descant in later sections), alternating between Scripture-inspired verses and the recurring Eucharistic refrain: “Take and eat, this is My body… Take and drink, this is My blood…”.
